No I'm not looking to buy or anything like that I just love the movie and the character.

EDIT: Well then, I guess the best thing to do is to find out news about the movie via the producers (they might have info on their website or something) or from fan sites. It may also be worth asking the animatronics/puppetry community, as many may have worked on the movie or heard about where the puppets have ended up.

Either it's been stored somewhere by the producers of the film (or even put in some sort of museum display) or been destroyed. Quite often props and sets from movies are not kept due to the high cost of storage and the increasing number of items required to store.

If you're looking for one to buy, you won't find it. These items are usually not sold; but sometimes movie memorabilia includes small props and other items that are originals from the set. HOWEVER, you must be careful to only buy official merchandise, there's a lot of fakes out there and people are easily ripped off by shoddy sellers.
